M&M Math with McGowan

Does you child complain about Math? Well your child completed 2 HOURS STRAIGHT of mathematical thinking yesterday and would have kept going they loved it so much! Who knew math could be so fun? Using their own 50 gram bag of M&M's, students learned about fractions, ratios, percents, probability, and graphing! After calculating all the fractions, ratios and percents, student then collected and graphed the data of 7 others peers so they could interpret their data! This is one of my favourite lessons, and it was a perfect fit just before spring break!
