Take a peek at the amazing characters students create!
A long time ago I went to the Arts Institute of Vancouver for animation, but I soon realized my passion was for teaching. I still create and draw, but my favourite unit to teach is about creating characters that an audience will connect to. Students have developed background stories for their original characters, created 10 frame storyboards in an infinity bound book, and now are finished modeling their characters in 3D using wire for armature, tinfoil, hockey tape, and clay. Here is a peek at our characters!
