It was hard to leave the students on Monday, but I will be off work for about 12 weeks while my foot heals from a fusion surgery. We had a bit of an easy day as we cleaned the class, and prepared the room for our new teachers. We will have a TTOC for 2 weeks, and then a short time contract teacher, Ms. V, will arrive.
As promised, we had "vegetables" in the afternoon, and watched Spirited Away as a sum up of our Character Design unit. I will miss everyone, but I know the staff at Nukko Lake works hard to support all learners, not just the learners in their classes. We are a solid community team, and I look forward to coming back sometime in May!
